Welcome to the Marine Institute Start Up page. MI Start Up is the place for new and returning students to access all the information needed for this upcoming Fall semester.
Our faculty and staff are so excited to welcome students back to campus and we look forward to seeing you at Orientation on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. In the meantime, explore this page before we Start Up the school year! If you have any questions, please contact orientation@mi.mun.ca.
If this is your student’s first year at the Marine Institute, you are invited to the Parent and Supporter Orientation happening on campus on Monday, September 4th, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:30PM.
The Marine Institute is welcoming first-year undergraduate AND graduate students to attend orientation on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 from 9:00AM to 3:30PM. When you arrive, you can enter through the main entrance where you will be greeted by the Student Union, volunteers, and MI staff.
Do you have questions? We have answers! Stop by the Welcome Booth in the main lobby - We are happy to help! We can even point you in the right direction to key areas in the building.
