Program Description

Marine Mechanical Design (MMD) is a three-year technology program and a versatile, all-encompassing technical program that provides students with the mechanical design skills necessary to excel in both marine and land based industries.

Marine mechanical design graduates learn how to apply engineering and architectural principles, in the elite production areas of piping, propulsion and other mechanical systems that operate ships, drilling platforms and subsea structures.

Program Structure

The program consists of six (6) 13 week academic terms and three (3) 5 week technical terms.

Admission Requirements

Adherence to our Application and Admission Regulations either upon high school graduation (following a period of employment subsequent to graduation), or by transfer from another post-secondary institution.
