Sample Projects
Marine mechanical designers are expected to be able to design a variety of ship systems, such as: pipe systems, propulsion systems, and to prepare production drawings. As an MMD student, you will be supported every step of the way by the experienced and knowledgeable MMD instructors. Instructors often work one-on-one with students, both in and out of the classroom, to ensure that students fully understand what is expected of them and to demonstrate how to best achieve success.
All of the MMD core courses have ample lab time each week to ensure that students have the opportunity to work with instructors, and each other, in order to complete their assignments and projects on time. Below are samples of the type of drawings and projects you will learn how to do in the MMD diploma program.
